Gorgeous Latino is an intelligent quick learner, with a golden character, great work ethic and excels when pushed to new heights. Gorgeous Latino sibling, Newmanda (Manda line/Glocks Toto JR) was a 2021 high scoring 3 yr old KWPN mare in the Netherlands. Gorgeous Latino blood lines are especially interesting, coming from a remarkable group of descendants with proven Grand Prix dressage lines and international performances.
Sired by Grand Prix talent, Hanoverian stallion “Glocks Toto Jr” Totilas’ most popular offspring and 2020 Dutch National Champion ridden by Edward Gal who said: “When Toto Jr was three years old I already knew that if there was a horse that could run the Freestyle of Totilas it would be him. I’ve waited seven years for it. It’s still daring to say, but I have the feeling that GLOCK’s Toto Jr can be even better than his father…In the walk, GLOCK’s Toto Jr demonstrates outstanding ground cover whilst, in the trot and canter, his light-footedness, balance and strong uphill tendency are captivating. His nature is also of outstanding quality.” - 2024 Toto Jr. Dutch Olympic team horse.
A unique fusion of the best Dutch and Hanoverian breeding. Toto Jr’s dam is by Olympic Grand Prix Competitor, Desperados, out of a mare by Rotspon, with the added dimension of Bolero. Champion of his KWPN test Toto Jr. received 9’s for Walk, Canter, Rideability and Disposition. The committee praised him for his willingness to work and recommended him for the improvement of basic gaits, rideability and disposition. Gorgeous Latino’s Dam, Blackmanda by Rubiquil is one of Stal Hexagons famed “Manda” mares that performed Dressage at the highest national levels and produced a string of successful Grand Prix horses and licensed stallions for Stal Hexagon. Some of those: Latamanda, Truemanda, Roumanda, Newmanda, Ushimanda, Banderas, Filamanda and Westpoint. Damsire Rubiquil represented the ultimate in rideability winning amongst many others Dutch Championships and team gold with a junior rider in the European Young Rider Championships before winning gold at the European Championships.
Gorgeous Latino, who appears to be perfect blend of his ancestors, is the 2021 licensed and performance tested son of Glocks Toto Jr (Totilas) in the US and out of a multi generation Grand Prix producing Dam line.
