Magnum TN is a gray 16.2 hh KWPN stallion bred by Team Nijhof and imported from the Netherlands. Magnum is a fully approved stallion for German and US Hanoverian and Rhineland breeding, his offspring are also eligible for a number of other registries.  Magnum’s pedigree contains at least six generations of 1.6 meter jumping performers and progenitors. With his incredible genetics it was not by chance that Magnum finished his final stallion performance test as a Champion of the North American Stallion Sport Test, the highest scoring 2023 jumper stallion on both the West and East coast! Magnum’s final weighted jumping score was 8.23 points with an 8.5 for scope, 8.5 canter, 8 style, 8 ridability, 8 overall impression. Magnum was also the Champion Jumper of his 2022 West Coast Stallion Test.  In addition to his Championships at the Stallion Test Magnum has been campaigned in the show ring by owner Erik Garcia Pinedo who imported Magnum from Holland. Magnum handily won and placed in his first classes and was division champion 2 consecutive weeks at the HMI show at Rancho Murrieta in 2023. The team plan to continue to compete together.  Due to his top jumping pedigree and high jumping scores Magnum is a member of the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program.  If this young stallion has not convinced you yet, please read below as the performance and production in his pedigree will.

Pedigree

Magnum’s sire Berlin, whose Dam, Estia and Grand Dam Ostia also had international careers, was very successful with Gerco Schroeder on the Dutch showjumping team winning amongst others Gold at both the World Cup in Aachen 2006 and the 2007 European Championship. He has too many successful international jumping offspring to list. Berlin retired sound with clean legs after a highly successful career.

Dam sire Stakkato, 2007 Hanoverian stallion of the year, started his successful career as the 5 yr old Bundeschampionat Champion with Eva Bitter.  Many national and international successes followed. As a Celle state stud stallion, he produced 76 licensed sons, 104 premium mares, and well over 250 jumpers at the highest national level.  Stakkato was among the top producers on the breeding index since 2001 and the highest ranked Hanoverian jumper producer for 9 consecutive years.

Dam’s dam sire, Zeus produced 21 Licensed sons and 892 national and international jumping descendants gathering 4.5 million Deutsch Mark in winnings and 46 State Premium Mares. Baloubet Du Rouet and Rodrigo Pesoa won the World Cup three times and Bronze and Gold Olympic medals. He produced 25 licensed sons and 130 successful national and international jumpers in Germany even though he never stood at stud there. Darco was a World cup, WEG and Olympic jumper with Ludo Philipaerts and holds the record for the highest number of competing Grand Prix offspring in the world. Quidam De Revel was a world class Nations Cup, World Cup and Olympic jumper and produced 30 approved sons in Germany. In 2012, eleven of his offspring competed at the London Olympic games.

Magnum is a medium frame stallion, very easy going and great to work with in all ways, he has excellent quality semen. We expect very talented jumpers and user-friendly offspring. Magnum is available for breeding via excellent fresh semen.
